I am a newbie. I searched the postings and the help file, but could not find any hint to my question.

I want to write a fbsl program that allows users to select a Chinese word on my web page by a mouse, and then a window will pop up showing the meaning of the word. The word's meaning is retrieved from a dictionary.

'The FBSL Tutorial' initially written by Taobert and translated to English, a VERY good tutorial that can be considered as a good FBSL book as well !
Else you have the FBSL CHM Help (about 600 pages I wrote !)
